Rocio Valderrabano, Maestra del Programa de Niñez Temprana

Rocio Valderrabano was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She studied a Media at the Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas in her hometown, but always enjoyed spending time giving classes in diverse schools - kinder, elementary, middle and community schools.  Her real love was working with kids.

When she arrived to Austin 14 years ago, she worked in different jobs, and in 2009 started taking care kids in her home.

When she began studying English four years ago with Cameron Allen, she saw the necessity to create a little childhood experience to help and support the parents who are taking the challenge to learn ESL, but at the same time they need to care for their children.

In 2015, The SEED program was born and gave her the opportunity to follow her dream, our dream: to support our classmates/parents with a little nest - a place where she and Lupita can take care of the little ones while their moms are studying and achieving their goals.

"When you want to achieve a goal, no matter how old you are, all that matters is the focus to get it."
